The video below is an example of my latest project, mixing for a client & friend and a fine acoustic bassist Mr. Adam Booker and his jazz quartet. His solo tracks are pending and will be delivered later this summer to complete his second CD project as a leader. I've had the pleasure to also share the piano duties in this project along with master musicians Geoff Clapp (drums), John Raymond (trumpet), and the leader himself.
I've finished mixing my latest CD album recording featuring Bob Sheppard (tenor and soprano saxophones), Ed Soph (drums), Zack Page (acoustic bass), Chris Beyt (guitar), and myself (piano, compositions, arrangements). I'm very excited about this and hope for a release in 2020.
I've finished mixing my 2017 recording featuring Wlosok/McGuirk/Riley Trio along with Carly Johnson on vocals. Hoping for a release at the end of 2019 with kickstarter campaign pending this summer. Stay tuned!
This Fall of 2019 I'll be mixing a large 18-piece student big band and 5-piece faculty combo from WCU JazzFest 2019 which took place on campus of WCU in April. The performance was recorded to 22-tracks and our studio engineer Jim Elenteny did a fine job tracking it. This is a large scale project which will require some 150-200 hours of work.
I'm fully booked till the end of 2019 with four more client projects to be completed by year's end.
